Since my freshman year of high school, I have taken an interest in Environmental Studies. During my time at the Academy for Environmental Science, I conducted a semester-long research project, developed the layout of a sustainable city, and participated in fieldwork. My dual enrollment at the County College of Morris exposed me to independent work and self-reliance. My ongoing time at Lafayette College has expanded my communication, group work, and organizational skills. My internship as a Lake Steward solidified my decision to pursue Environmental Studies and taught me the primary aspects of fieldwork. My internship at Camp Six immersed me in administrative work that can be applied to any work environment. Employment as a tour guide brought me connections from all over the country. I worked on my language skills with customers. I thoroughly improved on my public speaking and leadership skills throughout my experience as a guide. Due to my duration at the company, I trained several new employees.
