As the Adult/Dislocated Worker Program Director, I Interpreted and applied federal and state legislation toestablish policies, procedures, and monitoring tools for workforce development programs. I facilitated support for youth, adult, anddislocated workers from diverse communities, ensuring their individual needs were met through Title Iservices and supplementary resources. This approach aimed to secure employment in high-wage, in-demand occupations and foster self-sufficiency. I managed the coordination, development, recruitment,and maintenance of outreach activities targeting prospective employers and local business groups,including Chambers of Commerce and economic development entities. Collaborating closely withcommunity partners and New Mexico Workforce Connection staff, efforts were dedicated to advancing jobseekers towards meaningful employment opportunities, thereby contributing to both economic growth andcommunity development initiatives.
