Areas of accountability for direct reports include: finance, corporate services (including administrative support, human resources and information technology), social enterprise, fund development, marketing and communications, chaplaincy/spiritual care, emergency shelters (single men and families), mental health outreach programs, and addiction treatment for men.Establish, cultivate and maintain collaborative working relationships with other community organizations, government representatives, media, private donors, and other stakeholders.Champion organizational accreditation, policies and procedures.

Responsible for overseeing Fundraising/Development and Communications/Public Relations efforts for all branches of Mission Services of London as part of the organization's senior leadership team.Strategize and implement work plans that achieve the successful cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donations, as well as the building of awareness about the meaningful impact of the organization's services in the London area.Among others, duties include working with a Board of Directors, strategic planning, leading the process to set fundraising priorities, major and legacy gift fundraising approaches, coordinating service providers to execute on the direct marketing portfolio, creating and managing department revenue and expense budgets, and managing a team of seven staff (their portfolios range from annual giving and special events, to major and legacy giving, to donor database management and gift processing, as well as communications/public relations). *Served as Interim Executive Director for all branches of Mission Services of London and the Mission Services of London Foundation from May 31, 2016 to August 14, 2016, providing leadership during the Executive Director's planned absence.*

Through various interactions, identify potential donors and build awareness about the care, teaching and research work of St. Joseph's Health Care London, as well as the ways in which community entities (individuals, foundations, corporations, service clubs) can enable itSolicit and secure transformational gifts in support of St. Joseph's Health Care London Steward confirmed sponsorship, major and legacy donors, ensuring the continuity of the relationship with St. Joseph’s Health Care FoundationOrganize donor cultivation events and tours designed to highlight an area of care at St. Joseph's and to inspire community support for that programEngage and support volunteers in philanthropic approaches to potential donors, equipping them with the tools, information and messaging needed to engage their networks for the benefit of patient care Maintain records of donor and volunteer interactions in Raiser’s Edge

Conducted membership program evaluation, member interviews, and external market analysis to provide the organization with a marketing plan that would maintain existing members, as well as increase the membership base.Researched innovative ways to raise awareness of Pillar and its work.Made recommendations on the fee structure of certain events to increase revenue and reflect the benefits of membership.
