Print And Marketing Supervisor
CurrentDepartment Manager and Customer Service. I was promoted from Print & Marketing Associate to Department Supervisor. Initiating, building, and supporting customer relationships. I developed long-term relationships with many of my customers who became loyal repeat customers for numerous years. It was my responsibility to ensure the Print & Marketing Department was run with operational excellence and ensure every order was done right and on-time. This responsibility also included utilizing outsource vendors and regional production centers for orders too large to be completed in-store. I was accountable for implementing corporate directives. I was able to improve upon the framework established by the corporate office by streamlining workflow to improve efficiency. I was mandated to meet corporate sales goals for my department. I routinely exceed those financial expectations and finished last fiscal year at 125+% of planned sales goals. I credit the establishment of a loyal repeat customer base for my successes. I was responsible for the production of hundreds of various customer copying, printing, and design orders. Assisting customers with shipping packages. I was further responsible for counting, ordering, and maintaining department inventory and machine supplies, as well as controlling waste. I was further entrusted with training new print associates on workflow, department processes and standards, machine, and equipment usage, as well as cross-training non-print associates on basic copy and print services. I would routinely supervise three to five department staff members, as well as supervise and manage the sales floor and store associates in the absence of other managers. Opening and closing the store, including the cash office and required paperwork. Handling cash, credit transactions, returns, exchanges, and manager overrides of other associate transactions were also part of my daily duties.
