I am a therapist with a passion for helping BIPOC, Latinx, and women live authentic lives. This passion is rooted in my mission to break stigmas surrounding the basic right to global mental health and emotional wellness as a fundamental need for our communities. My main focus is sexual health, multiculturalism and trauma. I hold a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida. I focused on sexual health outreach and have training in Spiritual Competency in Mental Health.My approach to therapy is collaborative and client-centered, tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Reality Choice Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Somatic Therapy. Moreover, I integrate creativity, expressive arts, and experiential interventions into the counseling process to facilitate healing, growth and self-discovery.In addition to my clinical work, I am dedicated to ongoing professional and personal development that incorporates movement and dance as a medium of therapeutic growth.
