Installation,repairs and carrying out preventive serviceConducting user training on new installationsKEY ACHIEVEMENTS-I was actively involved in the Belgium/MOH project that involved identifying areas within the Health sector, with emphasis being in the Laboratory and Radiology department, during Phase 1 we were able to identify, access their needs and equip 8 county hospitals with assorted laboratory equipment (Hot air oven, haematology machine, chemistry machine, blood refrigerator, microscopes, centrifuges and mixers) Radiology (fixed digital x-ray machine)Phase II a total of 45 county hospitals-in various parts of Kenya were identified for laboratory equipment upgrade-In addition, I continue to provide support within the region East Africa, recently I was involved in new installations in Tanzania for the Cobas 6000 chemistry unit-The CDC /MOH-KEMSA project for Molecular units Cobas 8800/6800-where I was part of the team that installed 6 sites in the country(Walter Reed, Ampath, Kemri, Edarp, National Reference HIV-Lab and KNH CCC Lab)

-Managing workforce of 10 staff and several casuals and interns-Servicing and Maintaining Medical Equipment in(IMG):-Carrying out routine safely checks on the Medical equipment.-Nurses training on proper use of medical equipment.Key Achievements-In Uganda I was actively involved in setting up of a Biomedical Department at International Hospital Kampala and the setting up and equipping International Medical Group upcountry clinics, in his capacity as the IMG Co-Ordinator and in-charge.

Managing workforce of 20Setting up and running of the Maintenance department. Servicing and Maintaining all Medical Equipment in the Hospital Maintaining of Hospital equipment inventory.Reporting to the medical officer in charge.Key AchievementsI was instrumental in the merging up of the three independent units namely General, Eye and Orthopaedic Hospitals into one unit.
