I am a microbial ecologist interested in the role of microorganisms in their natural environments, how they contribute to the biogeochemical cycles, how they interact with other organisms, and how can we use them for bioremediation and other applications. My current research involves bioinformatics and data analysis where I study the distribution of microorganisms in human populations. I have also worked in Bioremediation, Forestry, Agricultures, and Comparative Genomics projects. My tools of the trade are R, Python, and Bash as well as different statistical analysis (multivariate, linear models, and machine learning). I really enjoy finding patterns in data and visualize them in an impactful and accurate manner.
