I am a Cloud Security CISO and Cloud Security Pioneer; forging a path into the future for Sonrai, our customers and the infosec / cloudsec community.This is a dual CISO role. Internally I am responsible for building, growing and managing Sonrai's internal information security program for an environment that is multi-cloud native. Externally I am a CISO level consultant and evangelist for cloud security working with organization ranging from the Fortune 50 to start-ups. I work with prospects, customers and the market in general, to educate on how the cloud has changed the paradigms of information security and how to secure their own clouds accordingly.In this role, I also started up, built and lead Sonrai's Professional Services organization. This started with me being PS Engineer #1 and working hands on with two of the largest financial institutions on the world. In under two years I tripled the size if the team and on the path to revenue generating.

Following the successful sale of the Enterprise Energy business, I became responsible for the commercial integration of Enterprise class value added resellers (VAR) into the Inmarsat's brand new Global Xpress Service. This involves leveraging my strong program management skills and well as drawing on my commercial, product/service management and technical background and skill sets.Global Xpress is the 5th generation of Inmarsat satellites that will deliver mobile broadband speeds across the planet to compact and lightweight satellite terminals with seamless beam-to-beam handover.

In this role I was responsible for managing the divestiture of Inmarsat's Retail Energy Business to RigNet Inc., a leading global provider of managed remote communications solutions to the oil and gas industry. This involved working directly with executives (VP and C-level) from both companies to develop program plans and budgets.Program managing aspects covered Finance, Network Operations, Customer Support, Sales Support, Legal, etc. I was also responsible for directly managing the integration of business unit's L-Band business over to RigNet. Successfully brought the deal to close on time and under budget.

In this role I was responsible for developing (from scratch) and maintaining Stratos' cyber security program. This included providing leadership and oversight in the areas of practice and policy development, security design, security infrastructure, technology solutions, and employee security awareness.Following the merger of Stratos into Inmarsat I assumed responsibility for Inmarsat's Cyber Security Operations Program. In this role I was responsible for developing and leading Inmarsat’s global information security operations program across 27+ countries.This included providing leadership in the areas of process analysis, development and improvement, monitoring and alerting as well as incident response and vulnerability management and investigations
