Serving as the coordinator for the Pomona Public Library Foundation, I oversee and facilitate a tutoring program for students ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade from the Pomona Unified School District and neighboring school districts. Within this role, I offer support and assistance with homework and school assignments. I oversee a team of over 100 tutors, predominantly sourced from esteemed institutions such as Pitzer College, Cal Poly Pomona, Pomona College, and the University of La Verne.

As Assistant Athletic Equipment Manager I oversee all aspects of sports equipment inventory management for Pomona-Pitzer Athletics. Responsibilities include procuring, maintaining, and distributing equipment, and ensuring safety and compliance standards are met. I make sure laundry is done so equipment is ready and available to athletes when needed. I collaborate with coaches and staff, communicate guidelines to athletes, and prioritize equipment safety and functionality.

As a Research Assistant in Professor Roberto Garza-Lopez’s Computational Chemistry Lab, I took part in a 10-week research project focusing on exploring potential treatments for Hepatocellular Carcinoma and other cancerous diseases. Employing a variety of computational techniques including docking and molecular dynamics, we assessed multiple ligands for their efficacy. Our analysis encompassed studying binding affinities alongside kinetic and thermodynamic properties between proteins and drugs. Through this project, I gained significant proficiency in utilizing programs such as Schrödinger, WebMo, and Maple.

As a team member, responsibilities included:-Taking orders, preparing, and frying pizzas to company standards.-Operating point-of-sale systems and handling cash transactions.-Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the make line, including cleaning and stocking items.-Providing fast, courteous, sincere, and positive customer service at all times.

Managed inventory by restocking merchandise within the store, including gallons of milk and animal feed. Attended to the care of farm animals. Assisted customers by loading bales of alfalfa. Gained familiarity with various types of animal feed and their specific purposes and functions.
