Responsible for the design, deployment, performance, and technical operations aspects of large, high-density Wi-Fi venues. This includes IP network architecture, RF design and optimization, testing strategy, and vendor management for stadiums, transit locations, entertainment complexes, and theme parks. • Participated in major upgrade of WiFi network at the Comcast Center. Involved in the project for the design, construction and integration of new wireless APs throughout the venue. Provided coverage and capacity to meet all of the building's needs.• Developed the plan for the migration of the SEPTA Rail System from a SEPTA owned location to a location in the Comcast Center. • Installed the core equipment a WiFi system for the PATCO Rail System and performed initial network testing when the core was fully integrated into the system.• Addressed significant performance issues with the PATCO Rail System. Performed troubleshooting in field and lab environments. Determined a QOS parameter was causing the problem. Once this parameter was turned off, the system performed as designed.• Provided oversight of construction of the WiFi network when Philadelphia hosted the Pope. Managed construction teams, logistical management, deployment strategy and test planning. Ensured the WiFi network performed as designed. • Liaised with design vendors to create the WiFi network designs for the Philadelphia Zoo and Mann Center. (The Mann Center is an outdoor amphitheater venue in Philadelphia.) These designs are currently in the process of being implemented.
