Managed work priorities for junior members of research organization.• Generated 19 patent applications and multiple new products through research.

Conducted research work in areas of fluorinated polymers, monomers, and surfactants for applications in enhanced oil recovery, hydrocarbon foamers, antibacterial coatings, easy-to- clean surfaces, and others. • Achieved 31 patents applications by researching high-performance fluorinated polymers and surfactants for coating applications. Received Director’s Award for Excellence in Science in 2006.

Synthesis, characterization and applications of dendrimers attached to solid supports. Also, gained experience in multi-step synthesis and purification of small organic molecules and organic/inorganic hybrid materials.
