Some people may remember stories of what you did, others may remember the important things you told them, but everyone will remember the way that your actions and words made them feel. I was taught to treat people the way you want to be treated, and I plan to keep that ideology with every new person I meet. I remember my grandpa bought flowers for my grandma every time he went shopping. After asking him why he bought them every time despite already having flowers at home, he told me that its all about the little things. If you only pay attention to a person at the time of first contact, you will lose that relationship, and nothing will grow.
