• Accountable for the closure of part of the GTS organisation and its activities.• Results: customers migrated to other banks, products closed down, vendor contracts terminated and staff have left the organisation. Result has been achieved within set timeframe of 2 years.• As manager of the Dutch Product Management Team (20 FTE) had direct responsibility for coaching staff through a journey were eventually all staff are asked to leave the organisation, while keeping them motivated to execute the closure activities.

• Responsible for the development of the strategy for the GTS cash management organisation and the translation into product/system changes.• Was business lead in a study with McKinsey to develop and analyse strategic business options• Developed the strategy for GTS channels in RBS as part of a business transformation programme. Translated the channel vision and strategy into an execution approach, performed vendor selections and defined the development of a number of prototypes.

• Lead business representative of a programme to relocate over 600 applications from the Netherlands to the UK. Was responsible for the definition of the migration and test approach and was part of the executive decision committee during the execution weekend. This programme has been successfully executed with minimal client impact.
