Controlled all operational tasks in this process, including equipment shipping, equipment receiving, status reporting, planning processes, movements in the field, security, targeting, individual training tasks, and communication systems management. Mentored staff to use task leveling to reduce operations center establishment times from twelve hours to less than six.

Operations included fixed site security, convoy escorts, urban search support, route security, and high value asset escort missions. The platoon performed these operations over a year deployment to Iraq from January 2005 to December 2005.
