As a direct report to the COO, I drive strategic planning to capture market leadership, using consumer behavior insights, competitive analysis and in-depth data analysis to support decisions. Over the course of my tenure I have developed a global industry model, as well as a framework for assessing potential acquisitions. Additionally, I analyzed game systems, monetization systems, and features to ensure the strongest possible entry into the Role Playing Game (RPG) and Strategy genres.

I developed a new product and revenue stream under the Baystreet Research umbrella. It was a subscription research product covering the North American and European video game markets. The additional value-add and competitive advantage was providing investment ideas. I regularly spoke with clients to discuss ideas for their portfolio. I advised investors on trends in traditional and emerging markets, covering all of the top game producers, including EA, Activision, Gamestop, Take Two, King, Ubisoft, Zynga, Gree, Dena, and Nintendo. My contributions in the role ranged from securing subscriptions from high-value hedge funds ($1B to $100B) to development of a methodology that monitored trends and predicted viability.
