I've been contracted as an Assistant Designer to the Women's Handbag Design Team. I start each season by doing competitive brand analyses on high-end luxury brands and new releases during fashion week. The design process includes refreshing classic silhouettes with modern trends tied to Coach's DNA: heritage and accessible luxury goods. Development of new handbags includes heavy hand sketching, designing flats using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and exploring innovative hardware and mechanics. Mid-final design stages consist of meetings and feedback from the design, marketing, and product development teams on prototype/final product improvements.

Working for the Department of Energy included new users outreach and government employees studying and reviewing our website builds. The users would participate in personal/group interviews and surveys (produced by my team and me). The collected information would allow us to begin strategizing new solutions, prototyping, and using qualitative/quantitative data.Teamwork included working with UX Designers and the Director of Digital Content for the Department of Energy (design strategy, drafting, and building wireframes). Results increased our understanding of our user's customer experience (CX).

I would conduct interviews with new clients and interpret their mission statements through compelling style guides - from ideation to final delivery (using gathered information and marketing data). Assisted the Art Direction on typography research, logo iterations, and mood boards.
