Automated Proactive Outbound Notification: This two-phase project automated Rx refill process via an IVR system. Application identified patients who were eligible for upcoming Rx refills. System created a daily file used by vendor to initiate calls to patients. Patients could initiate refill request or speak to a Patient Care Consultant. Call disposition data was returned to CuraScript for processing. This project increased company revenue and reduced operating costs. Xi-Pay – This project sought to replace credit card vendor with parent company vendor, as well as a complete re-write of the credit card processing logic using Java. Est savings of over $500k in reduced transaction costs in year one. I created the test plan, test scripts, expected results, and test data consistent with requirements and design documents.

Core Conversion: Migration of data from xCNA systems to The Hartford. Developed inventory of tests to support user acceptance testing. Constructed roadmap of each day’s activities . Balanced daily workload against avail resources. Matching Payroll: Project was in support of data conversion effort above and was needed to support xCNA business. Lift & Load: Project served to move xCNA applications to The Hartford. Served as Test Lead for a team of 6 QA analysts. Supervised test schedule with adherence to budgets and deadlines, reported metrics to leadership. Life/Accident Transition: Pre-acquisition project merged Disability and Life/Accident claims systems. CA Workers’ Comp Test Audits: Project surrounded need to reduce errors on Work Comp premium audits. Project aimed to avoid fines imposed by the CA Work Comp Bureau. Sought to ID root causes of audit errors via data-driven research, quantify savings and recommend corrective action. Reduce Variation in Policy Service Representative (PSR) Responsibilities: Project was aimed at ensuring all PSR’s were providing the same level of service across teams. Determined teams servicing sales offices were performing different tasks making it difficult for mgt to eval performance. Teams performing more tasks per insurance app processed fewer apps than teams performing fewer tasks resulting in inequities in performance evaluations. Benefits included development of a standard task list, SLAs between offices, and more accurate performance appraisals. Identified root causes of process variation via data-driven research, quantify costs savings or avoidance and recommended corrective action.
