In 2005, this included approximately 1 million hours of development and 300K hours of maintenance, 260+ enterprise applications, and 650+ resources comprised of Sprint, IBM, and EDS personnel both on shore and off shore. This oversight included the creation and review of project and resource metrics, conducting weekly departmental operations reviews, as well as conducting weekly vendor operations reviews. Additional duties included serving as acting Director as appropriate, representing the department on most ITS wide initiatives including the 2005 & 2006 maintenance budgeting process, managing the Phase 1 IBM & EDS vendor relationships, and managing the termination of 250+ Sprint employees as a part of the outsourcing contracts.
