Hi!My name is Chase Erickson and I am a junior studying Management Information Systems at Iowa State University. I am excited about learning and implementing new coding languages as well as working with databases.Getting the job done right the first time is something that I value highly. This is crucial and something that I strive for in everything I do. Doing well on the first pass saves time by cutting out the process of reparation/revision. However, the process of revision, in the right context, is also something I personally value. Sometimes the final product is only a couple of tweaks away from perfection.Criteria that I use to evaluate myself are based around how I believe a future employer would evaluate me. I also evaluate myself in how I "stack up" against my peers. These criteria include but are not limited to: technical performance, timeliness/punctuality, and whether or not I am a good fit for where I am at. Periodic self-evaluation is an excellent way to stay on top of what you are doing well and what you could be doing better.I am an excellent team player and get excited at the opportunity to work together with colleagues or classmates to finish an important project. Having multiple minds at work on the same task is a great way to make sure everything is working as intended. I am also very proficient at communicating both electronically and face-to-face.
