I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics (MPQ) in Garching, Germany. My work will be focusing on quantum many-body systems, entanglement theory, quantum information theory and their potential connections to relativistic quantum field theory and quantum gravity.I obtained my PhD from the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Waterloo, specializing in Quantum Information program under joint affiliation with the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC). My work has been mostly on the subject of Relativistic Quantum Information (RQI), essentially using the so-called particle detector models to bridge the gap between standard quantum information with Einstein's theory of relativity. In particular, my recent works have been mostly focused on "putting relativity in the equations", rather than the usual treatment where relativity is simply assumed to hold "somehow". I have published several peer-reviewed articles in high impact journals, including Physical Review Letters and Journal of High Energy Physics and Physical Review D, spanning topics from black hole physics, quantum field theory in curved spacetimes, relativistic quantum communication, to relativistic open quantum systems. I have also received the generous Mike and Ophelia Lazaridis Fellowship from 2018-2022 from IQC.I have experience in Mathematica, mostly focused on using numerical integration methods and symbolic computation. One of the published articles I have written includes one "paper" (rather, a Mathematica notebook) published under The Mathematica Journal hosted by Wolfram Research regarding certain tricks involving numerical contour integration. In the last two years of my PhD I have had the great opportunity to work mostly independently of my supervisors, where I work on my own independent projects as well as collaborations with mostly fellow PhD student collaborators from within or outside my own research groups. These culminated in eight publications between January 2022 to August 2022, six of which are published/accepted and one of which is an article that gained Honourable Mention in the well-known Gravity Research Foundation (GRF) Essay Competition 2022.
