About Gene Erickson

Unlocking value in commercial real estate is about more than simply solving for a number. It involves the art of evaluating people as well as properties based on location and classification. The goal is to secure optimal financing for all stakeholders. Since 1994, I’ve been doing exactly that. I’ve structured debt financing on mixed-use office, light industrial, senior housing and multifamily commercial real estate with an emphasis on multifamily since 1997. I’ve worked on properties all throughout the Midwest, ranging in value from $1M to $250M, with numerous deal structures including fixed-rate and variable-rate loans, tax-exempt bonds, LIHTC, new construction, forwards and supplemental loans. My expertise as a client manager includes building and managing client relations, promoting multiple lending products and negotiating financing terms. I'm an expert in leading account-based underwriting teams by organizing deal assignments, performing financial modeling and maintaining deal schedules. I firmly believe that deals work for both sides when a seasoned professional knows how to identify and assign the risk within a transaction utilizing due diligence, market research and appropriate and ever changing credit standards as market conditions evolve. To learn more, please send me an InMail or an invitation to connect.
