Jane Erickson is Director of Learning and Impact at ReThink Health and the Rippel Foundation, where she leads their work to measure, evaluate, and understand efforts for stewarding collaborative, equitable system change in communities across the country. Jane has worked with national philanthropies to advance social change for over fifteen years. She draws on rich experience in facilitation, program design and evaluation, applied research, and organizational development. Jane has led numerous nation-wide studies to develop a shared understanding of the landscape of multisector collaboration to improve equitable health and well-being in the U.S., including the ReThink Health Pulse Check. Previously, she oversaw strategy and implementation of ReThink Health Ventures (2016-2019), a large-scale project that advanced multisector approaches for place-based system change. Jane has also worked to foster civic engagement across communities in the U.S. and internationally, including as a Fulbright Scholar in Indonesia and with the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement. In 2020, Jane was named a Terrance Keenan Institute Fellow by Grantmakers in Health. She completed her BA at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where she was recently a member of the Board of Trustees and led efforts to establish their standing Belonging, Diversity, and Equity Committee. She holds an MPA, a Master of Arts in International Relations, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in Public Health from Syracuse University.
