The role is as a design and commissioning process engineer for different projects in the beverage environment – Main Clients being ABInbev and Distell. Main activities and responsibilities are:- Scoping & DesignClient/Stakeholder liaison to review stakeholder needs, in order to develop conceptual design for a specific design or to develop future CAPIN plansProgressing conceptual design eventually to detailed design which then involves • Process Design - conceptual design reports, basis of design and scope definition documentation, process descriptions & control philosophies, PFD’s, P&ID’s, process calculations, etc • Liaison/Coordination of Electrical & Instrumentation, Control & Automation, Civil, etc. Procurement Developing tender packages that have sufficient level of design that can be issued to contractors for tendering - scope description, technical specification, drawings, datasheets and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Review of tenders received and doing both commercial and technical adjudication. Project Execution management Firstly (and most importantly) is managing the Health and Safety of the project execution team. Ensuring that all work is conducted in a safe manner and that health and safety standards are met in terms of medicals, legal appointments, site inductions, etc. People Management:• Managing draughts-man outputs• Managing contracted design engineers (eg. During this period, I was seconded to the Okahandja Greenfield Brewery Project for the duration of the brewery built and start-up. I was one of 5 team members that oversaw the design, installation, start-up and handover of the entire new 750 000 hl brewery. My role as Utilities Project & Commissioning Lead Engineer for Okahandja, Namibia Brewery included: Design coordination with multiple contractors Oversee construction of designs and installation Implementing and overseeing rigorous QCP• Design QCPs - HAZOPs & FAT of equipment (in Netherlands and Denmark)• Installation QCPs - Welding Procedures, Weld mapping, Material Certificates, Pressure Testing, etc. Coordinate commissioning activities The areas that I was responsible included: Incoming Water Treatment Waste Water Treatment Steam Generation NH3 and Glycol Refrigeration System Compressed Air

Seconded to Rosslyn Brewery’s Projects Department to operate in a Project Engineering capacity specific to process related projects, while still operating as a Process Engineer for day-to-day optimisation and problem solving. Work includes completion of projects from initiation to final handover: Preparation of Project CAPIN Documentation: Project Charters Project Budget EVA Savings Calculations Development of Project Plan Management of Project Team to ensure adherence to agreed project plan. Liaising with Area Managers and Planning Department to ensure installation and commissioning planned. Perform Process Engineering Role during project execution – HAZOP, FAT, Installation & Commissioning Ensuring that all documents are updated – CFS, P&ID, Work Instructions, Maintenance Schedules, etc. Performing of PAT (Performance Acceptance Testing) after Commissioning. Final sign-off and handover of project to Area Manager

Vacation work entailed: Familiarization of environmental standards and stack sampling procedure Assisting in stack sampling for Greenhouse gasses and other environmental hazards at Sasol, Secunda and Highveld Steel, Witbank.Attempted mathematical modelling of the ideal sampling point in a stack.
