I served as a Pay and Personnel Administrator/Administrative Supervisor. In processing/delegating correspondence, pay transactions, PTO, and updates to personnel records, I wqs at the front line of ensuring our people could focus on their respective careers with peace of mind. On-the-spot problem solving, process improvement, and project management for our entire organization were crucial. I have had many prior work experiences, with this being my first highly-rewarding and challenging career. I accepted the challenge and excelled, with a proven track record of success. I'm proud to have served my country and our personnel.I trained and mentored personnel in arenas of administration and guidelines/policy. I also trained and mentored personnel in arenas of physical fitness/health/nutrition principles. With over 6,000 hours of certifiable Adminstrative Superivision via the DOL certification program, I am confident in my abilities to lead and learn. I have had many mentors I owe a debt of gratitude, for taking me from a self-proclaimed "shovel man" to owning my role as a professional in our workforce. Now I will shift to where I would like to go from here. Having lived in both the Ozarks and the Pacific Norhwest, I've come to have a love for/respect for nature. It started with wadefishing creeks in Arkansas and has continued via self-study in wildlife, trees, and mycology in the Pacific Northwest. I'm also beginning to look at the history of our Puget Sound locality. I'm hoping to transition to a part-time involvment as a Naturalist in the great state of Arkansas. I will also work toward becoming a sustainable farmer and permaculture advocate. The path is set to begin October 2024.   Through the usage of six operating/record systems, I process pay and personnel cases for 200+ personnel in a timely manner. Functions of this career involve on-spot solutions in customer service, knowledge of instructions/regulations, use of Microsoft 365 in communications/tracking/reports, and data entry/submission to global partners/stakeholders. I cannot and do not do all of this alone. I work with, delegate to, and train many personnel for shared success in processing, process improvement, and guidelines/policy. This career requires a high level of attention to detail, timeliness, and in-depth knowledge of long-standing/emerging instruction & policy therein. It's a dynamic environment, and I learn something new each day!
