Started an a design engineer for adapter cards in an NCR proprietary mini-computer. Designed a state-machine based point-to-point synchronous communications adapter with built in LLC support as an upgrade to the programming interface from the character level to the message level.Moved on to a project leader position for adapter development. Moved to systems engineering responsible for system level specification, data terminal specification and oversight of system level hardware testing. Manager the PCB physical design team for a short time then lead the hardware development of the first RAID adapter. Moved to an advanced development group to research new technologies for possible product opportunities. With the advent of PCI helped start the host adapter development team as the hardware development manager.Now writing scripts for IO performance evaluation.Specialties: Hardware architecture, hardware / software partitioning. Development process. Developing software tools for data analysis.
