* Software Project Lead for an undisclosed title being developed for PS2, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC and due in May 2007 (team of 31 programmers). Using a customized development methodology and strong team values.* Software Project Lead for Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory on the Gamecube. Organized the work so the game could be ported from the PS2 to the Gamecube by a small team of programmers with no help from the art team. The port was done at during the very development of the PS2 version and against an increasingly harsh schedule.* Participated to the Academy of Expert as a networking and security specialist. The Academy of Experts is a privately held conference for the experts of the company.* Software Project Lead for the live team. The live team provided support for already released games in the form of patches and add-ons. Supervised a team of 11 programmers working on up to 9 projects in parallel located in the Montreal studios as well as in other studios.

* Designed and implemented a load balancing system for the Alis’s linguistic translation software. The load balancer ensures proper distribution of the workload from users’ translation job requests among the linguistic servers available. The load balancer principal component is a COM+ multithreaded server that monitors the workload on each linguistic server hooked to the system.

* Designed an API for adding edition capabilities (both destructive and non-destructive) to Bentley’s new imaging API as well as developing a COM+ interface to be used by JMDL (Java with MDL extensions) applications.* As technical lead, participated in designing and surgically replacing an aging 256-color display system by a new true color one. * Designed and lead an implementation team to write a raster to vector conversion module to be added to Descartes; HMR’s flagship application. Although implemented in C and MDL, all design was done in OO.* Designed and implemented many new features to enhance Bentley’s applications where I had to develop functional specifications then, once approved, produce a design and either implement it alone or lead an implementation team.

* Replaced a legacy printing module (which was limited to one single fixed size font) of Profits by a new one using multiple varying size fonts.* Participated in designing and lead the implementation team of GIGA, a disk and memory usage measurement software. GIGA was written for Windows 3.1 using WIN32. After GIGA’s first release, new features were added to it on a regular basis.* As technical lead, participated in the implementation of Lambda’s first Windows application: Profits. Although this was my first assignment, I ended up with the position of technical lead because of my experience with GEM a GUI system somewhat similar to Windows 3.0* On a regular basis (once a year), designed and implemented new features (usually requested by clients) into MIPs, a legacy program written in BASIC.
