Project Manager

I had direct supervision of the Project Team. This included defining, assigning, monitoring, and accepting project work and associated deliverables, as well as actively participating in the Planning, Execution, Monitor and Control, and Closing phases of the project. Some of the various project types managed by me have been:• Core Infrastructure Deployment Projects [Net new or Refresh] (networking, cabling, servers, switching, storage, cooling, UPS, etc.) for various sizes of organizations; from small (<20 people) to very large (100s+ to 1000s+) • Client Migrations to Office365 from On-Prem Exchange environments resulting in TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) reductions in the range of 20-50% of baseline• Active Directory deployments and large remediation efforts allowed one large client to identify 10,000+ machines and begin a full bottom-up overhaul. Identification and Consolidation was the first step(s) of a system wide refresh and upgrade saving the company thousands of dollars in overall maintenance costs• Lync Phone System Deployments for various clients with up to 250 users. Implementation allowed cost reduction vs current provider with better overall service to employees; increased uptime and better call tracking to customer service organization.• Large Integrated Management Application deployments (Microsoft System Center / SCCM / SCOM), which enabled clients to better manage its data network as well as its core infrastructure platforms with less people and at less costs and better performance overall • In many cases, all , or a portion of the project, leveraged available cloud resources to maximize the functionality desired by the client. This effort included leveraging AWS and/or Azure clouds.
