I currently hold a Senior R&D Manager role at OFS Fitel, LLC., after several years of product line management experience helping our customers add capacity and upgrade their networks using fiber optic solutions . At OFS and my past opportunities, I have been fortunate enough to be able to research leading technologies. This has allowed me to provide design, application and product support on the latest industry solutions. I have over 20 years of experience with telecommunications and optical fiber solutions including roles supporting application and field engineering, product management, Standards and training. While supporting a mix of FTTx, wireless, data center, campus, and outside plant applications, I have experience with a multitude of vendor and generic solutions sets. I have patents related to fiber optic wiring schemes and separately cable management, and have provided several dozen published articles and conference presentations.I have an engineering degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) and an MBA from Gardner-Webb University.Specialties: LEED Green Associate
