Regional Head Of It (Apac)
• Strategy & Planning- Support the global development of IT strategies and the implementation of these strategies.• Acquisition & Deployment- Benchmark, analyse, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT desktop architecture.- In the region, manage financial aspects of the IT, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for local IT spending and initiatives.- Implement and enforce the IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision in accordance with Swisslog global IT governance.- Develop, implement and manage the overall support strategy for the region.- Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer, consultants and service agreements.• Operational Management- Manage IT staff, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.- Maintain a good working knowledge of the IT infrastructure in the region and implement the proper infrastructure based on Swisslog global IT guidelines.- Assure the service delivery with the locale IT on-site organization.- Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with regional management team, department heads, and end users regarding pertinent IT activities.- Work with regional management to define business and systems requirements.- Act as the senior technical resource for the region. Design, build and implement global IT solutions with the respective partners.- Work with regional management to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.- Interface with IS for existing and new applications- Direct research on potential technology solutions in support of local, regional and global IT initiatives.- Approve and oversee projects and project portfolios.
