About Eric Lim

As the General Manager for Ant Group/OceanBase at OceanBase, I lead the commercial strategy, development, and operations of OceanBase in Asia Pacific. OceanBase is a financial-grade, native distributed relational database that is adopted by more than 400 clients globally, including Ant Group, ICBC Bank, GCash, China Mobile, and Ctrip. With over 10 years of experience in the technology industry, I have a strong track record of driving innovation, growth, and customer satisfaction.I am passionate about bringing cutting-edge technology from the "labs" to the market, and solving complex business challenges with scalable, high-performance, reliable, and low-maintenance solutions. I have co-founded two startups and led one, and I have also worked with some of the largest tech companies in the world, such as Amazon Web Services and SoftBank Robotics. I have an MBA from the National University of Singapore and a Bsc Business from the London School of Economics and Political Science. I am always eager to learn new skills, explore new opportunities, and collaborate with diverse teams and partners.
