- Recruited, trained, and directly supervised over 40 interns from 5 campuses- Conducted trainings for hundreds of students virtually to run strategic public campaigns surrounding issues such as election voting, eliminating single-use plastics, making college more affordable, hunger and homelessness- Conducted dozens of presentations, orientations, and interviews for prospective interns and organizers- Worked with interns and student volunteers to build a diverse, invested coalition of organizations and decision makers to boost youth voter turnout- Trained students to be effective social change leaders, using skills such as generating grassroots support and coordinating virtual lobby days and news conferences- Organized a food drive for Greater Chicago Food Depository that raised $1,537.50 (4,612 meals)- Used a variety of digital tools to conduct this work virtually while in-person gathering was restricted by COVID-19
