After years of progressive, industry-shifting TBI research and development, I founded Movement Interactive to change the face of brain protection in youth sports. As the Founder and Principle Consultant, I provide leadership, guidance and business development support for forming this sports technology company. Currently, I advise my team and partners regarding the development of a wearable technology created to detect and report Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) in youth sports. In addition, I solely execute a marketing strategies that have allowed my firm to receive national and media attention. Highlights: ✔Established a strategic partnership with several physicians that specialize in the care of TBI patients. ✔Served as the proposal manager and entrepreneurial lead for a NSF I-Corps grant valued at $50K ✔Awarded entrance into the ASU SkySong “Great Little Companies” program. This opportunity provided an additional $3K in funding for Movement Interactive, LLC. ✔Awarded the AZ Fast Grant for manufacturing through the Arizona Commerce Authority, valued at $90K ✔Manage the industrial designers and manufacturer to develop and test a working prototype of the system.

The partnership has allowed the firm to increase business in the research and development. ✔Served as the key member of the firm, to coordinate efforts between both industry and academic personnel to capture over $4 million in federal grants from organization such as, the Office of Naval Research and the National Science Foundation. ✔Negotiated the terms of the subcontracting and teaming agreement for contract opportunities at Fort Huachuca, AZ. The contracts are valued in excess of over $190 million.

In the support and delivery of remote network management capabilities for the U.S. Navy’s Mobile User Objective System (MOUS), I provided critical support to the Government’s effort in technical integration, project management, and engineering support for End-to-End (N2N) testing. Additionally, I provided support for the primary communications path between the Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics testing facilities through the Test Terrestrial Network (TTN). This included troubleshooting hardware and software issues within the provided distributed Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATM) wide area network (WAN). Highlights:✔ Planned and executed test cases and test procedures for Risk Reduction and N2N-2 test events. ✔ Installed and configured various customized applications, such as, the Netcool suite which includes Netcool/OMNIbus, fault Probes, WebTop, Precision, and Security Manger to compile Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMPv3) Management Information Base (MIBs), etc. Supported generation of Test Cases for NMS functionality and interfaces ✔ Determined/ located appropriate MIBs for managed/monitored N2N equipment Configure and load MIBs for all managed and monitored N2N equipment in the fault management application ✔ Assisted in the deployment of customized AAA servers that manage authentication requests from the managed network elements. Deployed Vintela Authentication Service (VAS) extension to facilitate authentication management of UNIX based operating systems such as Solaris and Red Hat Linux.

I provided technical integration, project management, and engineering support to plan, acquire, implement, test, and transfer the current Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS) to a Network Intrusion Prevention System (NIPS) for the enterprise level for United States Army installations. I synchronized the requirements throughout the implementation process e.g. (site survey, staging, installation, testing, training), within schedule, operational and costing parameters. Additionally, I worked closely with analysts from the Theater Network Operations Security Centers (TNOSCs) to develop systems designs/ specifications; and test & evaluate systems capability and acceptance. Highlights: ✔ Dual slotted as the security engineer that is responsible for coordinating and implementing the DIACAP process for the NIPS throughout the Top Level Architecture for the Enterprise. ✔ Developed tests, integrates and sustain information assurance applications and systems utilizing IT security devices and enterprise-based policies. Responsible for documenting and installing patches related to IA Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) obtained from the DOD Patch Repository. ✔ Analyzed and determined information systems requirements; performs studies, analysis, and evaluations of existing information systems; develops system designs and specifications; and test and evaluate systems capabilities and acceptance. ✔ Performed risk mitigation activities to ensure smooth implementation of and transition to new automation capabilities. ✔ Provided capability implementation support for the update and utilization of current and future Land Warrior Network (LandWarNet) architectures, change control, configuration management, operations procedures, help desks, and service delivery activities required to maintain mission-ready networks.

I served as the Network Engineering Test Lead for Joint Interoperability Testing (JIT) at JITC. My goial was to configure the network infrastructure for testing conducted on the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) to include VLANS, IP addresses, and network configuration drawings. Additionally, I published network performance reports at the conclusion of all tests providing the test director with all of the network data as well as recommendation for improvements. Also, I ensured the interoperability compliance of newly designed Nuclear Biological and Chemical (NBC) detectors. as well as systems compliance with information assurance standards and Net-Centric guidelines. Highlights:✔Responsible for documenting and issuing certifications for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) for various programs. ✔Ensured that all systems are up to date on all required patches and hot fixes issued by Microsoft as well as internal security audits. ✔Registered the RealSecure assets in the DISA FSO Vulnerability Management System (VMS) ✔Documented and installed Patches related to IA Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA) obtained from the DOD Patch Repository. ✔Familiar with various Command, Control, Communications, Computers Intelligence (C4I) systems and Global Information Grid (GIG) technologies ✔Key team member on various Configuration Control Boards (CCB)

As Network Manager & Operations, I supervised and managed four technical sections of 34 employees, telecommunication systems, data and voice switching networks and performed maintenance accountability of two TROPO Radio Systems, one AN/TSC system, Data Package, 12 vehicles, and all associated equipment valued in excess of $20 million dollars for the 40th Signal Battalion. Highlights:✔Managed Tactical Network, which provided, voice, data, and video communication to over three hundred (350+) users. ✔Deployed a Tactical Signal Company with 42 personnel and over $39 million dollars of equipment to Djibouti, Africa / Kuwait in support of OPERATION ENDURING/IRAQI FREEDOM from August 2002 to May 2003. ✔Managed all Nuclear Biological and Chemical (NBC) issues and the day-to-day operations of the unit while on deployment, ultimately being awarded the ✔Bronze Star Medal for technical expertise and performance in high tempo environment ✔Fielded the Joint Service Lightweight Integrated Suit Technology (JSLIST) and received training on Joint Warning and Reporting Network (JWARN) while in Kuwait. ✔Worked in a joint effort with the United States Marines to establish a site defense plan; specifically my area covered, M22 ACADA placement, Decontamination points, and Chemical, Biological, and Nuclear reaction procedures.
