I worked at Hurley Stanners, LLC through The DePaul University College of Law Field Placement Program. I researched a wide variety of topics such as real estate licensing rules, fiduciary duties in corporations and LLCs, covenants not to compete in employment contracts, and fair use claims under the Copyright Act. I analyzed operating agreements and contracts, prepared annual reports for corporate clients, and drafted correspondence for clients. Joanne F. I did data entry for a rebate program for Apple. I entered customer information into a system that processed their rebate requests. I also scanned customer submissions into the company's image storage for later processing. Later, I worked in the receiving department and wrote up the paper work needed to keep track of the items as they were stocked in the warehouse. As part of this I handled products from Sony, Pittsburgh Corning, Merisant, Otsuka, Nalgene, and Autodesk.
