Principal Architect
CurrentA Principal Architect is responsible for technical direction, performance, designing, developing and testing software applications for a major or multiple product/devops areas. A Principal Architect relies on superior knowledge, experience, and judgement to dictate the high level technical and design direction for one or more products and/or programs to the software development and architecture team. A Principal Architect ensures the feasibility of all technical aspects of the products, makes overall product design and technology choices, develops standards for coding, tools, and platforms, mentors less experienced Architects, and may have line management responsibilities.
