Hi, my name is Eric Maxey and I was born and raised in the southern Maryland region. This past May I graduated from the University of South Carolina earning a double major in Operations and Supply Chain and in Finance. During my undergraduate years I had the pleasure of gaining global supply chain, logistics, and operations intern experience through valuable projects at Eastman Chemical Company and UPS Supply Chain Solutions. Another immersive internship opportunity was when I managed over a dozen employees and 50 clients. During this year long internship I enjoyed learning how processes and systems impact quality, efficiency, and profit. This is also my 10th consecutive year being involved in American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. This past year I served as Corporate Sponsorship Chair where I thoroughly enjoyed leading, guiding, and motivating our team towards a school record of nearly $200,000 raised. After graduation I accepted a full time position with Manhattan Associates as a Software Consultant. I am ecstatic about this career opportunity that will immensely challenge myself and help me grow as a professional and human being.
