I joined Quora originally to help build its ads platform in the early days, particularly on the auction/pricing/optimization nerd side of things.

We built a platform to make it easier for people to lend and borrow money by focusing on real identities and real world connections. We helped many people with limited credit access achieve educational and financial goals and changed the conversation around how we think and communicate about debt.In addition to all the people we helped, I learned a ton both in the general sense of starting a company, but also building the platform end-to-end myself as a non-professional programmer. The code base was not a thing of beauty but it worked and works to this day :-)

URX was the world's first deeplink search engine for developers.I advised URX on its auction, optimization and pricing strategies using theory and data.

- Designed, hired and managed a cross-functional team to address quality and usability issues in Facebook’s advertising products- Product manager for ads core optimization, auction, metrics and stability teams- Primary ads auction ‘evangelist’ at the company. Featured speaker on auction dynamics and optimization at external client summits; chief architect of auction education resources for Facebook’s global sales team- People manager and mentor for product analysts on frontend and backend ads products

Conducted initial forays (largely proactively) on a variety of ads marketplace aspects, including role of budget constraints in Facebook’s ads system, incrementality of acquired revenue sources, and differences in ads delivery in pricing owing to demographic factors
