The Strategic Portfolio Manager provides direction for planning, building, developing and implementing the region’s strategy. Interstate Medical Office

This position is responsible for the provision of business and clinical services in multiple ambulatory departments and assuring member satisfaction and quality of care. - Managed daily operations for Opthalmology and Pulmonology clinics. Supervised 27 clinical staff personnel and supported 11 physicians.- Implemented processes and IT solutions to improve.

• Managed 10 direct reports and an Infantry Company of 131 Soldiers, including a tour in Iraq with responsibility for all US operations in the company sector. Additionally, served as liaison to a deployed unit of 750.
• Planned and executed simultaneous combat operations for multiple platoons during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
• Coordinated operations with eight Iraqi and American agencies to ensure synchronization of civil and military objectives and reduce redundant operations and waste.
• Oversaw 21 construction projects including road, water, sewage, and trash projects worth over $1 million that improved the quality of life for Iraqi civilians.

• Human Resources officer for a Cavalry Squadron of 458 Soldiers deployed to Iraq. Responsible for personnel management, casualty operations, public affairs, promotions, and payroll.
• Directly managed a ten Soldier human resources department.
• Army liaison to three Iraqi Police districts with over 1000 police officers. Managed issues including equipment shortages and payroll discrepancies resulting in a more efficient police organization.

Platoon leader for Combat Engineer Platoon. Deployed to Iraq for combat operations 2003. One year assignment as primary instructor for a 16-week course that trained new officers to serve as platoon leaders in combat.
