G42 Leadership Academy is a 6 month training program geared towards a larger ministry to bring the Gospel to unreached people groups and bring light to communities trapped in heartless religion. The core values of this training is: Discipleship - Growing in God, Koinonea - Authentic Community, Freedom - God’s creativity unleashed, and Dominion - God with shoes on. This is accomplished thru a variety of teaching formats from lecture style, mentoring, community settings, and community practicums.

Management development program acting as a resource for specialty steel group, completed range of projects in Operations at Gambrinus, Harrison, and Faircrest Steel Plants; and in Demand Planning. Cost analysis of using scrap with high Nickel and Molly content to produce certain grades of steel and realized a $13 million advantage over competitors. Researched melt shop practices to increase the level of zinc in the dust coming off of the furnace for a $500,000/year savings. Analyzed 25 – 30 order change requests per day to ensure production could handle the change request.  Dated 300 orders per day to ensure production could make the order by the customer wanted date.  Led weekly Demand Planning meetings to update the team on Lead Times, Bottlenecks, Throughput, Late Orders, Expedite Orders and 3 month production forecast.  Allocated Harrison and Faircrest heats of steel to orders ensuring it’s the correct steel grade and quantity.  Conducted 5S Audits at 6 different Thermal Treat Operations. Conducted a time study analysis of Billet Condition Finishing for a process model.  Quantified the methods for measuring the Rate of Rise for ingots at Bottom Pour.

As a shared department resource, completed various project analyses for Truck Load, Less than Truck Load (LTL), Parcel, and Carrier Relation teams, each comprised of 3-8 team members.  Analyzed 50 carriers current resources file and updated over 4,500 lane and vendor resources. Computed a 21% Parcel cost savings analysis by determining which Regional Distribution Centers to ship DOT Com orders from. Presented project results at weekly team meetings. Determined and updated over 22,000 LTL shipping standards.  Contacted carriers to move previously declined truck loads.  Created UPS vs. FedEx coverage maps from different Regional Distribution Centers using MapPoint.  Presented a comprehensive project review to the entire Transportation Department.  Created Access Macros consisting of queries bringing together data from several tables producing results with over 700,000 records.

Provide mentoring and counseling to students while maintaining a residential floor of 30 first year students.  Worked with 27 other staff members in a residence hall with 550 first year students. Organized floor gatherings and informed residents of pertinent information and up-coming events. Conducted health and safety checks for residents’ rooms each month to ensure University compliance.
