Founder of Select Development LLC, a boutique real estate development firm that specializes in the development and preservation of affordable housing. Its principals have decades of experience in affordable housing and has partnered/ consulted with private and non-profit organizations in all matters related to the development, financing and operations of multi-family real estate. Select Development was founded on decades of diverse real estate experience and is especially proficient in creating financing strategies for development projects unable to fully meet standard lending criteria and in leveraging equity from federal, state and local government subsidy programs, such as Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Preservation Tax Credits and Tax-Exempt Bonds.

Eric McMahon joined NDCG in 2008 to help expand the firm’s affordable housing business. Eric is actively involved in the financial structuring as well as debt and equity placement for all of NDCG’s projects. Prior to joining NDCG Eric spent 4 years developing mixed-use historic buildings in the Midtown St. Louis neighborhood. He has worked on projects utilizing a myriad of incentives including Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Preservation Tax Credits, Tax Exempt Bonds, HUD financing, Tax Increment Financing (TIF), Brownfield Remediation Tax Credits and Tax Abatement. Eric has been actively involved in closing over $200 million of development projects in his career. Eric became a partner in 2016.Eric graduated summa cum laude from Saint Louis University in 2004 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and majored in Entrepreneurship. Eric is a licensed real estate agent in Missouri and is active in the Missouri Workforce Housing Association. Eric lives in St. Louis’ Holly Hills neighborhood with his wife Angie and two sons, Brock and Bryce. When Eric is not in the office crunching numbers you can find him on the field coaching his son Brock’s soccer team. Eric is also active in the St. Stephen Protomartyr parish.
