As an attorney at Lewis Wagner, I spend the majority of my time handling first-party property damage coverage disputes on behalf of a number of insurance carriers. I am regularly asked to analyze and litigate complex insurance coverage questions relating to property and homeowner policies, commercial general liability policies, and automobile policies, and my insurance coverage practice involves litigating insurance coverage disputes such as declaratory judgment actions, bad faith claims, and suspected insurance fraud claims in federal and state courts. I also handle other catastrophic and complex litigation, legal malpractice defense and general litigation matters involving transportation, construction and premise liability. My work also includes providing advice and counsel to individuals and businesses such as property and casualty insurers, airlines, trucking and logistics companies and construction firms and related contractors. I enjoy working with my clients to creatively identify and solve problems to manage risk to reduce exposure to liability and litigation costs.Prior to joining Lewis Wagner, I represented clients at an Indianapolis area law firm in civil litigation matters involving breach of contract claims, shareholder disputes, real estate disputes, aviation matters, property and casualty litigation and general tort litigation. Also prior to joining Lewis Wagner, I was a member of the aviation mass disaster litigation team at Condon & Forsyth in New York. The team provided airline clients advice and counsel on all issues that arise out of the crash of a commercial flight including wrongful death and personal injury claims, property damage claims, CERCLA and other environmental claims, and insurance coverage disputes.
