I develop and use machine learning models in creative and impactful ways, currently for Risk at Cash App. Previously I worked in the Visual Intelligence team at Yahoo, and I completed my PhD in Physics at UC Berkeley, where I worked in the Redwood Center for Theoretical Neuroscience. My doctoral research focused on understanding how the brain might learn and use the low-level statistical structure of natural visual and auditory stimuli.
