As Chair of the Firm's Executive Committee, I help ensure overall Firm governance and strategic alignment.

Moss Adams Consulting involves a broad range of consulting services and solutions and in my leadership role I help our professionals grow our consulting practices to better serve our clients and meet our clients' broad business needs. Moss Adams Consulting touches just about every aspect of modern organizations across all industries the firm serves including information technology, specialized tax, wealth management, managed services, and traditional management consulting needs like change management, organizational design, and strategy.

Providing leadership and oversight to Moss Adams Advisory Services in my role as Partner-in-Charge involves a range of responsibilities. The Advisory Services group addresses client needs outside the traditional realm of audit and tax. This group provides a broad array of consulting services including, but not limited to, information technology (assurance, security, design and implementation), risk management, strategic planning, performance assessment and improvement, and business valuations. My role is to ensure our clients receive the highest level of service and our consultants become their trusted advisors.

Manage all aspects of Moss Adams’ Business Risk service line across the firm. Work primarily within the Tech and Life Sciences industries as well as with existing public companies to implement, enhance and optimize their risk management capabilities.Team with late-stage venture-backed and newly public companies to develop opportunities to identify risk, implement or redesign business processes, and strengthen controls throughout the organization in order to achieve management’s strategic objectives in anticipation of an IPO or M&A exit. Additionally, partner with client management to successfully implement the Internal Audit function and risk assessment activities into the management process. Provided leadership to or served in committees that included TCM Industry Group, Healthcare Industry Group, Assurance Services Committee, Firm Assurance IT Redesign Taskforce, Risk Assessment Standards Taskforce, Center for Audit Quality COSO Taskforce, Santa Clara Accounting Advisory Board, Northern California National Association of Corporate Directors and Silicon Valley Advisory Board.

I oversaw three National Practices (High Technology, Clean Technology, and Communication and Media) as the Sector Leader for the TCM group, provided assistance and oversight to the National Practice Leaders (NPLs) and fueled continuous improvement within TCM by setting direction, identifying sticking points, and resolving issues common to virtual practices. This included overcoming the geographic distance between members in order to promote group cohesion and maximize group success.

Drove formal development and growth of the Life Sciences national practice nationally and internationally. Led the firm’s business development and engagement management efforts with respect to Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Instrumentation, Research, and Diagnostics companies to expand services and identify new services or marketing and sales needs.
