In this position, I influenced and advised our product enterprise team in meeting product requirements towards attaining zero energy home/ living building standards. Developed a green building curriculum and taught design, construction, energy efficiency retrofitting, and integrated design principles to high school age students. Taught drafting, architectural design, and energy efficient building techniques. Facilitated a student run team known as the Building Performance Team, focused on auditing and retrofitting existing homes and buildings for energy and water efficiency. Took students on field trips to municipal water treatment plants, wastewater treatment facilities, and reverse osmosis "toilet to tap" operations. Participated with a statewide team of teachers who developed California's first CTE/Lab Science course on Green Building and Renewable Energy. I helped high net wealth individuals manage real estate assets. Private Mortgage Banking is a specialized program within Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, focused on a special affiliation with Wells Fargo Wealth Management. Private Mortgage Bankers originate conventional, non-conforming, and portfolio "mega-jumbo" mortgage loans, and have the ability to originate loans in all 50 states.

From 1995-2010 I worked as a mortgage broker in Summit County, Utah, helping people buy, build, and refinance homes. This was a wonderful time to be in the mortgage industry, and I gravitated toward construction lending. I really enjoyed working with people from all over the world who were buying or building their first or last home in the Park City area. During this time, I designed and built several homes myself. This is where I developed a passion for energy efficient building techniques and a deep knowledge of construction and real estate finance.
