Long-term financial and capital expenditure planning for water and wastewater, transportation, and sanitation departments in major cities around the United States. Investigated complex problems of public utility providers and created novel solutions using predictive algorithms, VBA code, ROI analysis, cost-benefit analysis, debt coverage ratio optimization, multi-objective decision analysis, capital investment prioritization, construction schedule optimization, and energy load and cost modeling. The Founder and former CEO of Marmot hired me to launch a clean-cook stove social enterprise in Rwanda. Immediately after graduating college, I packed my bags and moved to Rwanda for the adventure and real-world education of a lifetime. He and I launched a pilot operation to manufacture cookstoves and biomass fuel pellets, while I wrote the business plan targeting sophisticated impact investors. As a result of this work, Inyenyeri was awarded a $1 Million grant from the Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund business plan competition. Inyenyeri has since raised more than $20 million in grant and low-interest debt commitments.

Coordinated a team of 20 undergraduate and graduate students and two professional engineers in the design and construction of a small-scale water distribution system for a remote location in Rwanda. Designed and installed a 300W PV system at a high-school in Rwanda.
