Antagonist is a pure-play vegan media house, delivering highly curated, quality content through a digital-first, channel-agnostic distribution approach. We're the leading voice of a new ethical movement in pursuit of #radicalkindnessAs Founder & Creative Director, I've been overseeing the relaunch of the project and am in the lead for building out the new brand, taking it from niche print magazine to digital-first vegan media power house, with actual opinion- and thought-leadership, best-in-class execution and media tech innovation in the driver seat.

WORLD'S 1ST INTERNATIONAL VEGAN FASHION & LIFESTYLE MAGAZINEWhen I co-founded Vegan Good Life in late 2014, veganism had its second big wave in Germany and one thing was missing: A high quality print publication showcasing that the decision for a more ethically sound life does not equal "missing out" — and helping consumers make more holistically sustainable decisions not only in terms of food, but fashion and travel as well.In charge of creative direction and branding as well as filling a managing editor role, I made sure that the world's first international high-end vegan fashion & lifestyle magazine outgrow our German home market fast. We published 7 issues with 15K print runs and shipped them to over 25 countries, working with a network of international partner stores. Our "Plantbased Guide to Berlin" set a new standard for vegan travel guides and our launch events were some of the most fun nights I've had in my life. That, more than anything, I consider a real success.

Additionally to creating and implementing a new tonality and personality and overseeing a consistent rebranding, I brought credible and deep-rooted sustainability practices into the company, and implemented new protocols and standards.After a very successful run, scaling the brand's reach 20x, onboarding international retailers and distributions and helping the brand rise to annual seven figure turnovers, I left the company in 2021 to focus on the relaunch of Antagonist and our branding, content & venture studio Very Good Looking.

I helped build the international skateboarding vertical for redbull.com from the ground up. As Deputy Curator for the DACH region, I was responsible for curation, wording, photo editing, translation, SEO & social media copy for all articles for my region as well as overseeing a wide spread network of freelance authors, photographers and cinematographers. With the overall content direction being a team effort, brainstorming for ideas, interacting on a daily basis with fellow curators from all over the world and good teamwork had to be a given.
