I was a key contributor in the concept design of Solar’s next family generation of multistage axial compressors. I have done work varying from the flowpath design of a compressor in meanline analysis to generating 3D geometry and analyzing fundamental aerodynamic properties using CFD. Besides design work, I have also performed compressor mapping in test cells, written pre- and post-processing automation systems for both meanline and CFD tools, and trained new team members in the group.

I started my career at Solar as a rotation engineer, where I rotated through the following 4 groups: compressor aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanical design, and development test. During this rotation program I worked on a variety of projects ranging from running CFD for various compressor designs, thermal and structural analyses for engine components, PLC programming, engineering drawings, and process automation .
