●Assumed responsibility of the Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving and worked to acquire the necessary space to manage the increase in overall inventory that was a result of internal growth, an acquisition and a distribution partnership.●Operations project manager responsible for managing the successful integration of new products as part of a distributor partnership with a surgical device manufacturer.●Developed a report to identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory and worked with management to execute disposition to increase turns and free much needed space.●Developed inventory, shipping, and receiving metrics to measure performance and support continuous improvement.

●Managed the QA Department which included First Article Inspection of all new products, incoming inspection of all production material, annual supplier quality audits, and management of the company’s custom color matching process.●Leader of a cross-functional team that implemented various green initiatives. This included installing hand dryers, eliminated all reusable kitchen supplies, implemented recycling programs for batteries, plastic bags, CFL’s, and small electronics, etc.●Managed the RoHS compliance initiative by gathering the necessary compliance documents for all of the companies resins and color concentrates in addition to coordinating over a hundred color matches for those colors that were non-compliant.

●Reduced the company’s quarterly freight expenditures by approximately $70K or 10% by streamlining existing processes, creating new ones, and developing reports and metrics for management to identify future opportunities.●Reviewed the layout of the warehouse and worked with the Manufacturing and Distribution Managers to improve the material flow and increase inventory capacity by 12% at no cost through more efficient use of space.●System administrator for the purchasing, inventory and manufacturing modules of our ERP system. Achievements included setting up an automated cycle count program, resolved issues with part number set-up that resulted in more accurate costing, established a new part number classification system for improved reporting, and worked with IT to resolve any daily issues that arose.●Developed inventory metrics that measured inventory valuation, inventory turns, D.I.O.H., obsolete and excess inventory, as well as cycle counting results.

This portion of the Master Production Schedule generates $100M+ in annual revenue.●Responsible for compiling quarterly revenue figures, inventory impact reports, and performance metrics.●Leader of a QIT that created a tool to reduce inventory by capturing historical demand and incorporating Marketing’s forecast. Inventory was reduced by $2M within the first year while maintaining a 95%+ service level.

●Division administrator of the simulation tool used to gauge the inventory impact of high volume Master Production Schedule changes.●Work with Manufacturing, Test, Shipping, and Marketing to resolve daily issues surrounding customer orders to ensure accurate and on-time delivery.

●Controlled $25MM in annual production of two manufacturing plants for a leading product in renal dialysis.●Managed over $10MM in annual freight costs distributing product to more than 20 distribution centers and controlling inventory levels at those DC’s.●Worked with the plant managers and distribution managers to reduce backorders by more than $300,000 and increased customer service level to 98%.

●First person to implement the “cradle to grave” concept where distribution and planning functions were merged.●Established inter-modal lanes to various distribution centers to reduce monthly freight costs by more than $40K. Received the corporate “Above and Beyond Award” for this effort, which is given to 5 employees worldwide each year.●Coordinated replenishment shipments to national distribution centers; determined timing and quantities based on forecasted regional demand with the goal of minimizing costs while maintaining high on-time delivery performance.
