$12M manufacturer and distributor of disposable food service products focusing on Kosher markets and demographics. Director of Operations (Direct Report to C.O.O.) Responsible for all day-to-day and long-term activities and results for 80K square foot facility. Spearheaded daily operations for an 80,000 sq ft distribution center, driving efficiency and growth. Heavy focus on “Shadowing” the C.O.O. to learn the business and operations, to identify “Opportunities for Improvement.” • Responsible for supporting A $12M annual revenue plan for with an increase of 10% annually.• Major accounts serviced BINGO Wholesale, TMS Charities, and Chester Kosher Products; expanding capacity to align with increasing from three to four BINGO Wholesale locations.• Responsible for product lines including Kosher cutlery, paper products, and tableware with ongoing evaluation of new product lines, end-of-life, and substitutions for over 1,000 skus. Overseeing receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and inventory control.• Planning for upcoming confidential product launches aligned with the annual revenue increase plan.• Engaged initiative to convert trucking fleet from rental to leased and owned equipment resulting in 28% overall savings with three leased tractors and five purchased chassis. • Managing Team of 15 Permanent Warehouse Associates, 10 seasonal Workers, and four CDL Drivers. • Review of overstock capacity recommending and installing 35% overstock storage capacity increase.• Oversaw the planning process for a new 160K facility the company plans on building/occupying in 2025.• Review of offshore container capacities against product dimensions adjusting for a 5% efficiency gain.• Systems Analysis and Testing for Proprietary WMS resulting in identifying and implementing 50+ change requests.• Ownership of all aspects of facilities management for buildings, properties, and equipment.Reason for Departure: Corporate restructuring and downsizing.
