Bi-lingual English & Mandarin speaking environment.Worked with ByteDance senior VPs in Beijing and across TikTok offices to lead strategy planning for global physical security, facilities, and regional coordination. Proposal outlined the global physical security strategy for coordination between multi-national regions for employee travel, event, and VIP security.

Designed the KUMO-LIFT product after suffering a lower-limb injury as a student. Oversaw prototyping, oversees manufacturing, and logistics for the firm. Did all the typical stuff that a founder has to do to get a company started - pitching, deck making, financial forecasting, motivating oneself (you have heard this story before). Built the startup to a team of 8 receiving over $85k in funding from various awards, competitions, and grants. Personally recognized as FounderX by the DMZ and recipient of the Irving N. Arnold Innovation Award. Company shut down due to lack of problem - solution fit. CAC too high and solution not a significant enough of a value alternative to pillows. What the heck is Kumovate? Kumovate offers the most adjustable, portable, and secure leg elevation available to patients; the KUMO-LIFT. Designed for patients with acute or chronic lower-limb injuries to have the most efficient recovery possible through consistent and secure leg elevation.

Worked in the Privy Council Office's Operations Youth Secretariat. Under the mandate of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the Youth Secretariat's role was to support the Prime Minister in his role as the Minister of Youth. I worked closely with the Prime Minister's Office to provide non-partisanship advice on federal initiatives for Canadian youth. Collaborated with over 200 Federal departments, NGOs and public stakeholders to create the Prime Minister's Youth Council. Consulted on policy papers and briefings related to Youth affairs on a provincial, national, and international level. Facilitated UI/UX testing sessions for the PMYC Web design and Survey application

Worked for the largest stakeholder in public education for North America; representing over 2.3 million students. Elected by the student trustees of anglophone public and anglophone catholic school boards, to be in charge of internal operations of the organization. Charged with managing and directing 5 internal committees. One of which was the First Nations, Inuit and Métis Committee. This was the first of its kind in OSTA-AECO. The committee worked to bring a greater voice to FNMI students to the government and public education stakeholders. Assisted in organizing 3 conferences that each had budgets of around $5,000. Was in charge of reaching out to public education stakeholders to present at the conference, from government officials to private sector startups to NGOs. Attended monthly meetings in Toronto, that included comprehensive monthly reports of all internal activities.

Elected to represent all 72,000 students of the Thames Valley District School Board to the Board Administration and stakeholders. Attended board meetings and held administration accountable to the needs of both elementary and high school students. Presented bi-weekly reports on the status of students. Held regular meetings with the Student Advisory Council and visited schools within the board on a regular basis to speak with all levels of school professionals. Sat on the Policy Committee and the Innovation Committee for the School Board.
