As an Operations Supervisor I was responsible for the daily execution of the receiving, returns, and inventory control functions. I was responsible for the scheduling of all international freight, including containers that had a 2 hour live unload window in many instances. I developed new processes for receiving these containers to decrease total throughput time through changes in physical processes as well as data entry in SAP. I wrote new procedures to support these processes and contributed to other SAP usage improvements that helped to better track work being performed and improve capacity utilization in the warehouse.
